I bought this to use as an example for a Visual Rhetoric lecture I had to give. I found myself reading it pretty thoroughly, and actually enjoying it. Using the graphic novel as a medium for historical biography is nothing new, and given that I think teens would be some of the most likely to be interested in Che Guevera, this might be a good start for them to learn about him. The artwork is very typical of Manga, however I did find the artist's collages and larger panels to be really well done. It's relatively PG-ish, PG-13 if you factor in the war elements.

Very clearly told! It follows the scholarly biographies of this incredible iconic real-life person but brings it forth in the dynamic style of Manga. I am sure Ernesto would have approved . Rikster
Great graphic biography for a quick and full understanding of who Che Guevara was, along with what he stood for, and what he still inspires today.
I realize that this is just a large comic book however, Che and the events surrounding him were complex and this simply skims the surface. More information could be obtained by reading a Wikipedia article.
