Ok, let me tell you, I am the WORST when it comes to taking tests. I took the CSET a ridiculous amount of times before passing, so naturally, I was nervous for the RICA. While most people in my credential program were getting the CliffNotes RICA test prep book (which is the Publisher I used for my CSET prep), I stumbled upon this book on Amazon....While I was skeptical at how tiny this book is compared to the CliffNotes version, I was SO impressed.All of the information is condensed in a, straight to the point, understandable way. The vocabulary used makes everything easy to comprehend. The way the book is organized by Domain makes it perfect to organize the way you study for each section; I was easily able to focus on the specific content that I struggled with. I didn't feel like there was anything on the RICA I was unsure about, because everything I needed to know was included. I walked out of the testing center feeling confident, and needless to say, I passed my first try.Take my advice, get this book to study with.

"Because the stages of decoding and spelling are essentially opposite of one another, they are reciprocal skills. Thus, phonics knowledge supports the development of reading and spelling." (pg. 34)This is an example of the vague language this bizarre book contains. Do not be seduced by its low price, as I was. It does not provide enough detail to be helpful. Also, it has no author or publication information and is rife with typos--all red flags. Clearly it was written by someone who has never taken the RICA or taught literacy.

This product is a great tool for studying for the RICA exam. I like how the concepts are presented and the accompanying material is presented in the same unit. The material is easy to read and comprehend. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to pass the RICA.

Assisting future credentialed teachers to understand the concept of RICA and how essential these concepts are in the classroom. Students had difficulty passing test because they did not understand the concept of language and the changes within speaking styles.

I have used the same Test Prep Books for my CSET and I recommend RICA and CSET prep books to other teachers in my program. I go as far as texting the Amazon link since I know they helped me with studying for these extremely expensive exams. It is worth it to have peace of mind and a guideline to study for the material; very accurate of what to expect. I thought the material was helpful and this book made me feel prepared to take the RICA. I tell other future teachers that buying this book will save you money to avoid failing the RICA and CSET.

In regards to you product I am very satisfied with it. I enjoy reading the detailed explanation as to how to create a better reading environment for young readers. I have taken the RICA several times now and I often struggle to write responses that contains well detailed rationales for the strategies I have written about. The book helps me to develop well crafted responses that best answer the questions that may be found on the RICA exam.

I think it's a great book with a limited amount of time to study and before the test. I have to take it in three weeks and the other books seem so daunting to get through with my classes and the TPA that is due soon. I love the psychology of the book as it gets down to the nuts and bolts of the examination.

The book has great and detailed information needed when studying for the RICA. I only wish it has short response and case study practice.

Just reading about the success of author Adachi's previous titles alone made me pick up this first volume. This is the first of his works I've read, but so far I'm willing to give this series a chance.Without giving away the main spoiler in this 3-volume-in-1 release, the story revolves around a young boy, Ko. The first volume covered in this release is more of a backstory on his childhood, floating between his father's sporting goods store and his neighbor's coffee house. Readers are immediately introduced to his love interest in Waka, his neighbor and second oldest of four girls. Waka's interactions with Ko alone are enough to establish that they're gonna be the main pairing you're expecting while reading, but to bring it on home, you also find that they're born on the same day. It'd be cheesy in any other instance, but Adachi makes it work just well enough for readers to tolerate it.... but you'd be wrong to assume this manga is a full-on romance. As suggested by its genre alone (most shonen manga rarely delve that deeply when it comes to romance) its primary focus isn't on the possible couplings throughout the story, but moreso on the action, which in this case is baseball. The latter two volumes covered in this release are different from the first in that focus is less on the romance (which was only done in the first volume more to establish characters than the full story itself) and more on baseball--which will either make or break it when it comes to whether you should buy the release or not.Having read this 3-in-1 release, the overall tone of the series tends to that of your typical sports manga with the smallest doses of romance and suggestiveness (in the chapter title pages alone!) expected from your typical sports manga. Regardless, there's just enough charm for me to continue with the series.

Not just the win and lose passion but also the more delicate edges of life, as uncertainty, memories, melancholy.In Cross Game Adachi also remembers his own gone brother, because in this manga memories have even more weight than common life.The drawing skills of Adachi have not improved a lot since Miyuki but his narrative is much more accurate and effective. The Master only needs a few pages to transmit his idea and more.From the very beginning of the manga you cannot put it down. It really does not matter if you like baseball or not, I have not seen a complete game in 20 years or so, what does matter is to feel the feelings it transmits.Adachi is not well known in America but in Japan is one of the most famous mangakas of all time. I will strongly recommend you to read the best work of one of the best mangakas since the art was invented.Cross Game in short, is one of the best magas ever, you should not miss it.

Loved the manga and love the anime. It's touched on several aspects of people's lives. What it's like to loose someone and what happens when destiny lands a hand.

I read this manga quite a while ago. It is one of my favorites. So now I have bought the kindle version of it. I even liked the anime.

I love the series and I wish H2, Touch, Rough, Katsu, Mix and all of Adachi's works were brought over.

The artwork is classic, the story is engaging (if not a little melancholy). This is a manga for baseball fans, along with shoujo and shonen manga fans. Enjoy!

I loved it! it's a great story of growing up and baseball.If you like baseball or sports manga I'd recommend it to you!
